A progressive and innovative precision engineering firm
2007
Established in December 2007 we invested in 3 Star CNC Sliding head machines. Little did we know that the financial crisis “2008 recession” was just around the corner. We fell on some very hard times over the next few years and we had to do everything we could to survive, but, battled hardened we emerged stronger.
2012
The work started to come back and we have grown year on year ever since. So much so that in 2012 we moved into bigger premises, over double the size of our previous factory.
2013
We have been steadily adding new cnc sliding head machines and in 2013 we expanded our capabilities by purchasing our first fixed head machine. This allowed us to offer turned/milled parts up to 180mm diameter to our customers. As a result we were able to attract new customers as well as winning new work from existing customers.
2015
Our evolution didn't stop there, in 2015 we added another string to our bow with the purchase of a 3-axis CNC mill.
2016
Late in 2016 we built a dedicated inspection room which now houses all of our measuring equipment, gauges profile projector and cnc measuring machine.
2019
In January 2019 we upgraded our manual lathe with a Romi C420 CNC lathe which means that we can now offer sample and small batch runs as well as prototypes and secondary operations on already machined parts. We are continually evolving and always striving to improve in every way possible.
2020
We replaced an old 32mm sliding head machine with a brand new one, which has more power, bigger bar capacity and more tooling options as well as being more efficient due to advances in technology. This helps us continue to stay competitive and offer our customers more.
2021
In December 2021 we invested in a new laser measuring machine, a Jenoptik Opticline CS305, which allows our machinists to check their work automatically with a saved program. This is a great step to reducing scrap, saving time and keeping us efficient.
Present
Bringing it up to date we have recently purchased a Hanwha XD10 sliding head machine in early 2022. Then in mid-2022 we swapped the CMZ fixed head for a SMEC SL2000-BSY with FMB Bar feeder, a Robojob robot loader and Roto-rack parts conveyor and added another Hanwha sliding head machine to keep up with production needs.
